Votonic

Customization

Learn how to customize your Votonic community's identity and appearance

Overview

Votonic provides multiple customization options to make your community uniquely yours. All of these features can be found on the General Settings page of your community.

Community Icon

This is the main icon for your community. It will display in the top left of your community pages and serve as the favicon for your site. By default, it uses your Discord server's icon.

Choose a clear, recognizable icon that represents your community's identity.

Community Name

The name of your community. This can be modified at any time. This will appear as the web page title, and show in the navbar of your site. By default, it uses your Discord server name.

Community Subdomain

The subdomain through which your community is accessed (example sesh.votonic.app). This can be modified at any time, but it must be unique across all Votonic communities.

Changing your subdomain will change your community's URL, which may affect bookmarks and shared links.

Custom Domain

For communities looking for additional branding options, you can set up a custom domain instead of using a Votonic subdomain. This allows your community to be accessed through your own domain name (e.g., feedback.yoursite.com).

Enabling this option will display a button in the top right of the navbar that allows users to join the Discord server associated with your community. This button will only appear for users who are not currently members of your Discord server.

This is a great way to grow your Discord community through your Votonic site.

Remove Votonic Branding

This option removes all Votonic branding from your site, creating a more seamless experience that feels completely like your own platform.

Removing branding can help create a more consistent experience for your users.
