Overview

Votonic's Discord integration enables automated notifications for your community's feedback directly in your Discord server. This helps you stay informed about new feedback and engage with your users in real-time.

Notification Types

Post Creation Notifications

• Get instant notifications whenever a new post is created in your community
• Stay informed about new feedback as it comes in
• Quickly respond to user feedback and maintain engagement

Vote Threshold Notifications

• Get notified when posts reach a specific number of upvotes
• Track popular feedback and identify trending suggestions
• Configure different thresholds for different channels

Setting Up Notifications

When setting up a notification, you'll need to specify:

1. Target Channel: Select which Discord channel should receive the notifications
2. Notification Trigger: Choose either:
   • "On post creation" - Immediate notification for new posts
   • "On reaching a certain number of votes" - Notification when a post hits your specified vote threshold

Requirements

To use Discord notifications:

1. Ensure Votonic's Discord bot is added to your server
2. Verify the bot has proper permissions in your notification channels
