Post Statuses
Learn how to manage post statuses in Votonic
Overview
Post statuses help you categorize feedback and track progress. Moderators can set these statuses to clearly communicate the current state of each post to your community.
Setting Post Statuses
On Web
Navigate to the post and select the desired status from the status dropdown.
On Discord
Click the ⚙️ button on the post and select the status you want to set.
Customizing Statuses
You can customize each status with your preferred:
- Icon
- Text
- Color
You can also create new custom statuses and reorder them as needed.

Status Labels on Roadmap
Status labels play a key role in organizing your roadmap:
- Each status can become a column on your roadmap view
- Posts automatically appear in the column matching their status
- You can choose which status labels appear on the roadmap
- The order of columns can be customized to match your workflow
To configure roadmap columns:
- Navigate to your community's roadmap page
- Click the "Edit Roadmap" button
- Select which status labels to display as columns
- Drag to reorder the columns as needed
- Save your changes
This organization helps your community visualize the progress of feedback from initial ideas to completed features.
